Johns Creek senior wins America’s Teen

Johns Creek – Karli Barnett of Johns Creek won the title of “America’s Teen” in Beauties of America’s National Pageant held at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center on Aug. 15.

This prestigious pageant has young women from all over the country competing on many levels. Karli also won the Fitness Award and the Achievement Award, which honored her leadership and achievements in academics, as well as her service involvement in her community and the state.

Karli is a Senior at Mt. Pisgah Christian School, and is a member of the National High School Scholars, and a recipient of both the Georgia Merit Award and the U.S. National Leadership & Service Award. She feels very blessed to be an ambassador for young women and wants to encourage them to use their unique gifts and to pursue their goals. Karli would like to thank several companies in her town for their support, including: North Point Training, Kai Medical Salon, Pro Alterations, and Wolf Camera in Duluth.
