Originally Botox© was used to treat a nervous eye twitch condition. A side benefit to the injection was a significant reduction or even elimination of wrinkles in the treated area, and now the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery ranks Botox© as the most popular of all medically administered cosmetic procedures. The most common areas to treat are the frown lines, forehead creases, and crows feet around the outside of the eyes.
